Penn State is sending five players to the NFL combine in Indianapolis, Ind., this week, where physical and mental testing await and could mean the difference between being drafted and battling long odds as a free agent. Adrian Amos, Sam Ficken, Mike Hull, Jesse James and Donovan Smith will all look to elevate their NFL draft stocks this week.

Smith is likely the most highly regarded prospect in the group, but all five Nittany Lions stand a chance of getting drafted, even Ficken, who checks in as the top kicker in the draft, according to ESPN.com. James is sure to turn heads with his impressive physical tools and his Reps for Research bench press fundraiser. Amos has been a physical standout for the Nittany Lions, and Hull, a strong leader with a high football IQ, could make his mark in the interview room.

Bob Flounders and Dustin Hockensmith talked about all five players and what they stand to gain by turning in solid performances on this week’s Keystone Sports Network podcast.
