KSN Podcast: Breaking down Rutgers coach Kyle Flood’s suspension with Dan Duggan

Rutgers continued down a bumpy road full of disciplinary issues and controversies this week, when the university announced football coach Kyle Flood would be suspended three games and fined $50,000 for inappropriate contact with a professor. That suspension is effective for the Penn State game and creates plenty of noise for the Scarlet Knights to try and ignore leading up to Penn State.

Whether Rutgers can rally around the absence of its leader or succumb to outside distractions is a key point in Saturday’s showdown at Beaver Stadium. Interim coach Norries Wilson will take the gameday reins and attempt to get Rutgers prepared for a tough contest against the Nittany Lions.

NJ.com reporter Dan Duggan joined Bob Flounders and Dustin Hockensmith on the Keystone Kickoff Show this week to explain Flood’s suspension and offer more insight into the seemingly rampant dysfunction within the Rutgers athletic department. Check out audio of the show in this post and be sure to check back in to KeystoneSportsNetwork.com for plenty more Penn State podcasts and analysis.
