The Penn State football program continued its momentum on the 2016 recruiting front at the Lasch Bash and also laid more framework for 2017 and beyond with a number of elite targets. One of those is based in the Nittany Lions’ backyard in Central Dauphin rising sophomore Micah Parsons, a defensive end who should push for a five-star rating in the 2018 class.

In addition to securing commitments from outside linebacker/defensive end types Cameron Brown and Shaka Toney, coach James Franklin also made more headway with four-star prospects Tre Nixon and Jordan Fuller. Both are considering Penn State at the tops of their lists, which also include a number of national powerhouses.

Ross Tucker, Bob Flounders and Dustin Hockensmith talked about the latest recruiting developments, the three-year anniversary of NCAA sanctions against the PSU program and more in a segment this week for the Keystone Sports Network.
