KSN Podcast: Evaluating Penn State performance at each position

Penn State has won three straight games and is a heavy favorite to beat Army at Beaver Stadium this weekend. Bright spots have come into focus everywhere on the roster following an all-around debacle, with a fresh, new look at the linebacker spots, along the offensive line and at cornerback with the return to health of talented sophomore Grant Haley for the Buffalo game.

The Nittany Lions’ defensive line has been a driving force, as expected, and quarterback Christian Hackenberg is showing signs of life at a crucial time with the status of running backs Saquon Barkley and Akeel Lynch up in the air due to apparent leg injuries. The Army game marks a key point in evaluating the overall health of James Franklin’s roster at the end of the non-conference season.

Bob Flounders, Andrew P. Shay and Dustin Hockensmith took a look at each position on the roster, handed out grades and talked about surprises in a segment for this week’s Keystone Kickoff Show.
