KSN Podcast: Recapping Penn State football news, from the O-line to more deep shots

Penn State looks to bounce back from an ugly 27-10 loss to Temple with a friendly matchup against visiting Buffalo. Coming off that loss, coach James Franklin vowed to get more involved in the offensive play-calling and experiment with an offensive line that surrendered 10 sacks on quarterback Christian Hackenberg. He was also forced to find a long-term solution at linebacker after starter Nyeem Wartman-White was lost for the season due to injury.

Those issues are on full display as the Nittany Lions look to right the ship in their Beaver Stadium opener. The Bulls come off a 51-14 win over Albany last weekend and have some offensive firepower, perhaps enough to challenge Penn State early in the contest. But the looming question is, how much improvement will the Nittany Lions show?

Bob Flounders, Andrew P. Shay and Dustin Hockensmith talked about Franklin’s latest comments and plenty more in a segment for this week’s Keystone Kickoff Show.
