KSN Podcast: Talking Penn State-Ohio State with Doug Lesmerises

Ohio State has had its share of struggles to open its defense of last year’s national championship, running into adversity in every single game during a 6-0 start. The Buckeyes are still trying to find themselves on both sides of the ball with huge matchups that carry College Football Playoff implications coming next month against Michigan State and at Michigan.

Penn State, which gave OSU all it could handle at Beaver Stadium a year ago, is coming off arguably its best win of the season last week against Indiana. The Nittany Lions opened up their offense and took shots downfield, trends that could help in their effort to spring an upset in Columbus. Penn State coaches and players say they’re loose with much of the pressure on the shoulders of the Buckeyes.

Cleveland.com beat writer Doug Lesmerises joined Bob Flounders and Andrew P. Shay on the Keystone Kickoff Show to talk about the upcoming matchup, Ohio State’s struggles and more. Check out audio of the show in this post and be sure to check back in to KeystoneSportsNetwork.com for plenty more Penn State podcasts and analysis.
