Penn State plays its third of five straight home games Saturday against San Diego State with a little momentum on its side. The Nittany Lions are working on a two-game winning streak, the second of which came in impressive fashion with a dominant 28-3 win over Rutgers last weekend. A return to non-conference plays features a date with the Aztecs, who travel across the country to play their first ever game in Pennsylvania.

San Diego State plays a funky 3-3-5 defense that promises to pose challenges to Penn State’s improving offensive line. Coach Rocky Long’s offense could have its share of troubles facing a Nittany Lions defense that has gotten better and better as the secondary and linebacker corps have taken shape. That unit again figures to be the best collection of talent on the field.

Bob Flounders and Andrew P. Shay delved into the matchup in a preview segment for this week’s Keystone Kickoff Show. Check out audio of the show in this post and be sure to check back in to KeystoneSportsNetwork.com for plenty more Penn State podcasts and analysis.
